T-Rek

Creep On The Dancefloor

T-Rek Launches his 4th Studio Album ‘Dance Music’ at Revolver Upstairs on Saturday 12th May.

Written and recorded over several years between a hectic DJ, production and label management schedule,

‘Dance Music’ is a collection of songs ranging in style from T-Rek’s trademark guitar heavy disco boogie, through to a more straight ahead rock n’ roll band sound.

T-Rek will be performing two live sets on the night, covering all styles of music presented on the new album. The first set will see him backed by ‘We Are Gamma!’, playing the rock n’roll selections from the record.

The second set will be performed by ‘The T-Rek Band’ who will deliver T-Rek’s clubbier sounds, ranging from chart hits ‘Out My Bitch!’ and ‘The Devil Claps’ through to current singles ‘New Strange’ and ‘Creep On The Dancefloor’.

Also performing live on the night delivering gen-u-ine acid techno, laced with warped punk rock aesthetics, will be all round good guy and Melbourne club music legend Honeysmack. Musical segues, interludes and sojourns will be provided by DJ’s Andrew Padula & Guido Spatula.

T-Rek - ‘Dance Music’ album released May 4th 2012 online through iTunes & Beatport, with physical stock available exclusively at JB Hi-Fi.
